Design of technical infrastructure from space programming through construction documents in conjunction with project architects and engineers:
Cross-functional Coordination and Technical Review
- Perform a needs assessment through working sessions with key stakeholders and reviewing existing facilities to establish baseline requirements.
- Participate in Architectural &Engineer (A&E) Design meetings/working groups and agency meetings, and summarize meetings, with an emphasis on outstanding actions, issues and risks.
- Develop TAP (Technology Activity Program) – Power and Cooling Requirements by Area/Position
- Develop UPS (uninterruptable power) – Requirements by Area or Position
- Develop Fiber, Copper and Radio Cabling Infrastructure Backbone Designs
- Develop Comprehensive Cabling Specifications
- Develop MDF and IDF Specifications for Fiber and Copper
- Develop Cabling Requirements by Position
- Address Diversified/Dual Power Requirements
- Address Diversified/Alternate Routing Cabling Requirements
- Address Radio Demarc and Cabling Requirements
- Address Design Considerations for 24/7 Spaces
- Address Audio Visual Requirements
- Address Security Requirements
- Address Next Gen E-911 Infrastructure Requirements
